MC-4190 Corners

If you have any corner work on an older home - safe the headache and buy these. Our house was built in y5 and I guarantee you a simple 45 degree miter cut wouldn't have done the job - These made the whole job a breeze. Just wish they had matching ones for outside corners -- but there was only one of these so I spent the time and made a few cuts to get the miter cut for this one right.

For some reason my 48 year old house has molding everywhere except in one hallway leading to the bedrooms. These were the connecting features between the original and the new molding. They were a little big, but my contractor had no problem cutting them down and they fit perfectly.

Makes installing crown molding easy as could be. The project went much faster than expected by using these corners. Makes the room look very special!

We like the looks of these corner blocks. Installation is pretty straight forward. I did notice that on my most recent order the blocks were not quite square make it necessary to spend a fair amount of time trimming them to make to fit. They look much better if you have a snug fit with less caulking to fill gaps.

I've only installed one of the outside corner blocks and have no issues with it. It looks good. Be aware that is is fairly large as in necessary to cover the corner.
