Our DuraClean tiles are made from UV-Stabilized 5/32" (.16") thick pure PVC vinyl. This durable design is perfect for industrial and commercial areas, such as bottling & food processing plants, food prep areas, schools, dorms, daycares, and educational facilities. Class A Fire Rating and, being waterproof, they can be washed as needed. Backed by our 25-Year ProShield Warranty, DuraClean tiles are built for a lifetime of use.
Designed to fit all standard 15/16" T-Bar Ceiling Systems. These will not fit in a 9/16" grid; please measure the visible width of your grid.
Available in 2'x2' and 2'x4' sizes. If you have a 2x4 grid ceiling but prefer the look of the 2x2 ceiling tiles, simply insert a 2' center T bar available online or at most local hardware stores...it's that easy!
Installation Requirements
DuraClean tiles fit quickly and easily into almost any ceiling grid system. However, some grids have a more pronounced overlap where the Cross Tee sections meet the Main sections, which may lift the tile's corners, resulting in a slightly 'bowed' appearance. We highly recommend starting with a sample to ensure these will sit flat in your particular grid.
Fire Sprinklers: When installing DuraClean tiles in ceilings with sprinkler systems, cut the hole at least 1/4" larger than the sprinkler escutcheon/trim (leaving a visible 1/8" gap around the edge). This allows the tile to fall away from the ceiling during a fire and not foul the sprinkler system.
To cut any DuraClean panel, mark and score the face of the tile with a utility knife and snap it away from the cut. A skill or table saw can also be used in cutting multiple tiles at once and a RotoZip or hole-saw for odd sizes shapes and circular holes - like sprinkler heads or can lights.
Use a mild soap and water solution or most household cleaners to clean. Just spray the cleaner onto a clean rag and wipe. Power-washing DuraClean panels is also an option, but avoid placing the spray nozzle tip too close to the panel to prevent damage to the tile face. The tiles are unaffected by most corrosive chemicals, but you should avoid using acidic cleaners. Do not use abrasive cleansers to scrub.
Highlights:
Things happen; leaks in the roof, cooking mishaps, kids, we get it! All of these things can lead to stained tiles. Since the DuraClean tiles are mold/mildew resistant and washable, stains are easy to clean and you won't have to worry about replacing them repeatedly! You have the option of installing them in the grid alone, or putting them directly under existing acoustic tiles, and you can lay regular insulation right on top of the tile. Also, because the DuraClean is flat, these tiles are easily cut so they are perfect for using in rooms with partial tiles around the perimeter. What's not to love?

Warranty Conditions and Limitations
This warranty covers material defects in the ceiling tile when used in a standard ceiling application. It does not cover labor, consequential or incidental damages. This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original purchaser only. Please note that painting the ceiling tile will void the warranty and may change some of its properties like its fire rating.

The ceiling tiles replaced old water damaged tiles in a basement bathroom that were 50 years old. They were easy to install and look great. A really nice modern update. I will be replacing the other ceiling tiles in the rest of the basement in the near future.
These tiles are much cleaner looking and reflect light from the basement windows as well, making the room brighter. I definitely recommend. Of course the product was excellent. I ordered a sample to make sure. I hoped the shipping would be adequate and it was. They put the box of tiles in a box and put that box in another box with padding on the corners. All tiles shipped with no damage!

Here, I found the look of a wipeable real sheet rock 2X4 ceiling tile, in a product that is a lot lighter, easier to work with, same look and a lot cheaper.

Used these tiles for a soffit cover. I also installed lightweight led lights in the panels. I doubled them up in the area of the lights, gluing in the doubler with PVC sprinkler pipe glue. It all worked out very well and I'm happy with the look. I cut the holes for the lights in the tiles stacked 4 deep with a jigsaw with a course wood blade, and it worked very well.
These DuraClean Smooth Black 2.x4 ceiling tiles are very easy to work with and look great once installed! I'm very pleased with the way they look and am looking forward to using them again when I renovate the rest of my basement. Keep up the great work!
A friend with no prior experience replaced the builder grade drop ceiling in my basement bathroon. He reports that the tile was easy to cut and install.
