The MD-7099 Fall Bronze Ceiling Medallion is 24" in diameter and has a depth of 1".

Our Artisan Series ceiling medallions have one-of-a-kind finishes expertly applied by hand, so the finish on each unique medallion may differ slightly. Medallions come ready for installation -- no further paint or coating necessary.

Ceiling medallions are the perfect finishing touch for your interior design project. Use them to add luxury and charm to a ceiling fan or light fixture, or get creative and try them on walls for a pleasing, modern look that will impress all of your guests. Their innovative and lightweight design makes it easy to mount them to vertical surfaces!

Some of our medallions come with pre-cut holes, while others do not. If you need a hole in your medallion to install a light fixture or ceiling fan, we’d be more than happy to drill it for you -- just select that option before adding the medallion to checkout. Or, if you’d prefer, you may drill the hole yourself. Polyurethane is durable and easy to work with, and you only need a hole large enough for the wiring of your fixture to fit through.

    Installing Without Damaging the Finish
We recommend using a generous amount of construction adhesive during installation and holding the medallion in place, momentarily, while the adhesive takes effect. Then, you can use low-tack painter’s tape to continue holding the medallion in place while the adhesive dries.

    Installation With a Fixture
If you are installing the medallion with a ceiling fan, chandelier, or light, make sure the power is shut off at the breaker before attempting installation. Turning off the light switch only WILL NOT prevent you from being shocked. If you have any doubts or need further assistance, please consult an electrician. You may need longer bolts or a longer threaded tube than came with your fixture to accommodate the thickness of the medallion. You can get these at most local home improvement stores.

    25 Year Limited Warranty

You're making a beautiful upgrade to your home and we're here to help protect that investment. We guarantee that your polyurethane millwork will be free from manufacturing defects for twenty-five years from the original date of purchase.

    Warranty Conditions and Limitations

This warranty covers material defects in our polyurethane products when used in standard applications where temperatures do not exceed 150°F. It does not cover labor, consequential or incidental damages. This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

    • Polyurethane products are for decorative uses only.
    • Polyurethane products need a finish coat of paint during installation; it is the purchaser's responsibility to make sure their paint works well with the product (test and let dry on a small piece first).
    • Before installation, allow your polyurethane product to acclimate to room temperature for 15 minutes.
    • All polyurethane moldings must be installed with tight fitting joints (see installation instructions) as well as adhesive between the joints to prevent seams from expanding during changes in season.

    We're Ready to Help

Unlike a car, there is very little that can go wrong with a polyurethane product since polyurethane doesn't absorb moisture and won't be affected by insects. However, in the rare event that you do encounter a defect with your product, we're here and ready to help. Just give us a call and we'll work with you to identify the problem and, in case of defect, supply you with replacements.

At, we know that projects take a while, and sometimes plans change. To start a return, please call us at 1-877-550-0600 or email; we'll be happy to assist you!

    • Products must be unused/new and in their original boxes
    • Customer is responsible for return shipping cost (we are happy to help arrange shipping)
    • Partial returns where the quantity discount tier would change are refunded the difference between the original total and the total based on the kept quantity (see example)

    Materials & Tools Needed
    Screw Gun / Brad Gun
    Adhesive / Caulking Gun
    Caulking (paintable latex)
    Utility Knife
    Drill / Hole Saw

Many of our medallions have very intricate details and can be very difficult to finish once installed. We recommend painting your medallion before installing it. A high-quality spray paint, Latex or faux finishes work great. You can then touch up any areas that need attention after the installation is complete.

You can use any adhesive that is rated for use with polyurethane (check the back of the label) -- we have had great success using Red Devil Construction Adhesive, Loctite Powergrab and PL Premium Polyurethane Adhesive, all of which work well and are readily available at most home improvement stores.

    Installation - No Fixture
Run a 1/4" continuous bead of adhesive around the outer edge and randomly in other areas on the back of the ceiling medallion. Press the medallion up into place using a few finish nails or screws to secure the medallion while the adhesive dries. Once the medallion is in place you can caulk any holes and around the perimeter of the medallion using a paintable caulking. Touch up the paint if needed.

    Installation - With Fixture
If you are installing the medallion with a ceiling fan, chandelier or light, make sure the power is shut off at the breaker before attempting installation. Turning off the light switch WILL NOT prevent you from being shocked. If you have any doubts call an electrician.

Medallions are for decorative purposes only and cannot support the weight of a fan or light fixture. Your fixture must be supported by a support or junction box in the ceiling.

Many of our medallions come with solid centers to allow you to cut the correct size hole for your application. Take the bracket for your ceiling fan or light fixture and trace the area that you want to remove from the ceiling medallion. You will need a hole large enough for the wiring and holes for the bolts to pass through to affix your bracket to the junction box. The polyurethane material is easily cut so you can use a hole saw or a drill to punch out a hole. The hole doesn't have to be perfect since the fixture canopy will cover the hole.

Dry fit your medallion in place on the ceiling to make sure all of the wiring and fixture parts will fit as planned. Run a 1/4" continuous bead of adhesive around the outer edge and randomly in other areas on the back of the ceiling medallion. Feed through all the wiring and then press the medallion up into place, using a few finish nails or screws to secure the medallion while the adhesive dries.

Once the medallion is secure, attach your fixture bracket to the junction box. You may need longer bolts or a longer threaded tube that came with your fixture to accommodate the thickness of the medallion. Once the fixture bracket is in place, attach your ceiling fan or light fixture to the bracket and complete the wiring per your fixture's instructions. Once the wiring is complete slide the canopy into place to cover the hole of the medallion. Prior to doing the final finish work, turn on the breaker and test to make sure your fixture has been properly wired.

Now that you have your medallion and fixture installed, caulk any holes and around the perimeter of the medallion using a paintable caulking. Touch up the paint if needed.

    So beautiful

We purchased 4 ceiling medallions (3 white, 1 bronze) Even though our medallions were installed over a month ago, we just can't stop looking at them! Every time we enter the room they attract our eye to look up and see how beautifully they accent our ceilings. The installation couldn't have been any easier. Just glue and press on! No removal of the light fixture or complicated wiring issues to work around. Our electrician still talks about that. Why can't every home decor project be this easy and gorgeous?? Bravo uDecor for your brilliant design! Marie B.

    Statement piece

We just completed building our new house. My lovely understated hanging light fixture absolutely came to life with the addition of the ceiling medallion. It was a perfect compliment and is a standout feature in my home.

Beautiful - but harder to install compared to other medalions

This is a very interesting medallion which is already painted. However be aware it comes in 4 separate pieces. So take your time aligning the sections to get the inner circle equally spaced around your light or fan canopy cover and to ensure the outer 8 edges of the pieces are also spaced appropriately. Use a good quality bonding tube but one that allows for some minor repositioning for up to 10 minutes until you get all 4 glued up on the ceiling. Use sticky tape such as painters tape to hold the pieces in place to the ceiling until the bond glue is fully cured. We really like the end result look we got above our dining table chandelier which is in similar colors.

Looks great, but beware it comes in 4 pieces!!! Very difficult to hang

Unfortunately, we had a very hard time putting this medallion up. We never realized or read anything about it being in 4 pieces! It was very difficult to position the 4 pieces temporarily so that we could get them all even before we started gluing it. We tried temporary sticky glue, and when we were on the 3rd piece, the 1st one fell to the floor. Husband is very tenacious, and figured a way for the two of us to hold all 4 pieces in place to mark the ceiling. We glued one piece at a time and held it in place for 24 hrs with a stick, bracing it against the dining room table. We got all 4 up in 4 days- it was fairly even and looking good. About 4 days later, one piece fell to the floor. He then had to drill small nails into each one and kind of start all over. It is up now, and looks really nice. I am happy with the look, but it was quite a chore to get it up.

Sorry to hear about your difficult experience with the installation. For installing, using an adhesive like polyurethane premium construction adhesive should speed up the process as it holds very firm. You can also use painters tape to hold it in place while the adhesive sets (although a stick is very creative and works as well).

    Stunning affect............

We recently moved and had bought this medallion in our last home. I immediately ordered another one for our new house. It is not only beautiful, but it is so much easier to install because it comes in four pieces. Everyone comments on it when entering our home. You will not be disappointed!!!

    My ceiling meddalion

I haven't put up the medallion yet. I do know that it's going to look great with the fan. I also like that I can hang it up without removing the fan.

This medallion what is the final piece to finishing my dining area. It tied the whole look together. I'm so pleased. If they ever make the same medallion to fit a 6" canopy I would buy it for my living room.

    Good Quality, lightweight, nice design!

It will be a nice addition to my ceiling. I have decided it might be a touch too big to put it in my powderoom hallway with a handcarved 4 light candellier. I may trace it out and try it on the ceiling that way to see if I like it there. Otherwise I will try to accent my ceiling fan over my bed and I would enjoy it all the time. I will admit that it seems like it might be a little difficult putting it up by myself. It is 4 seperate pieces and I'm very experienced and handy. That is the only reason I have not tackled this job yet. Answer is for $50 it will add a lot of architectural design and class no matter where I put it. I would look at your website again for my next projects. Kathy S Waretown, NJ
